- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp fruit salt (eno)
- 1 tsp ginger-green chili paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- 1 tbsp oil
- Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Green chilies
Instructions
- Mix besan, yogurt, water, salt, turmeric, and ginger-chili paste into smooth batter.
- Allow batter to rest 10ā15 mins.
- Add fruit salt, mix gently, and pour into greased tray.
- Steam for 15ā20 mins until cooked.
- Prepare tempering with oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chilies.
- Pour tempering over steamed dhokla and cut into pieces.
